Organizational Development


The HGM OD Team recognizes the need to quickly, efficiently, and effectively diagnose root causes to important issues.  This helps our consultants to quickly develop interventions to address those issues, and evaluate outcomes to sustain lasting results.  Moreover, our use of theory, along with practical business experience and OD consulting support, guide our intervention designs by cutting the guesswork, and allowing our OD consultants to isolate both how and why an intervention is or is not working.

Although there are may approaches to OD intervention, our interventions (including the theories and models we use) will largely depend on our client’s culture, client-specific issues, results of our needs assessment, and our client’s strategic objectives.  HGM has the ability to conduct OD interventions at all levels within a client’s organization.  We will employ a systemic approach that allows for integration of efforts, as needed.  We have the ability to quickly understand and assess our client’s needs using the Action Research Model to conduct interventions at the Organization, group, interpersonal, and intrapersonal levels.  Our OD interventions are designed and customized to meet each client-specific need.  The HGM OD Team has provided several organizational interventions for various federal, state and local organizations.
